Maison Relais – Alt Sprëtzenhaus – Esch-sur Alzette
An old firehouse is transformed into a maison relais. The tower, used for the hoses, got some installations reflecting its heritage.
An under stair seating area ‘made’ of fire hoses, a chandelier of suspended fire hoses, a hommage to the historic use of the tower.
The handrails were treated as water pipes and part of them function as a parlophone for the kids to communicate from one floor to another.
